Wearing a fabric face mask aids in prohibiting the community spread and infection of the corona virus when in public spaces. The mask has become a strict requirement for all South Africans to wear in public as instructed by Health Minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize, and the South African government. We do not provide respirator masks, n95 masks or surgical masks, simply reusable fabric masks that are only for non-medical use.

All our fabric face masks are comfortable, breathable and can be worn for extended periods of time. The construction and materials vary from accordion style pleats, in B-Grade coated cotton and light poly twill, to three-layer polypropylene fabric with a two-pleat design. All materials and designs ensure a comfortable wear as well as the protection from and prevention of the spread of respiratory droplets. Some of the face masks we offer are not returnable.

An important part of using face masks effectively is cleaning your masks thoroughly and frequently. Care for your new fabric face masks through hand washing or machine washing them at a high temperature of 50°C. Follow this process by ironing your masks, at 140°C, or lightly steaming them. Be sure to give them a wash after every use to decontaminate the masks and make them safe to use again. We recommend that each individual have a minimum of two face masks to ensure that one is available while the other is being cleaned.

Other guidelines to using face masks efficiently include not touching your face mask when wearing your mask, not lowering your face mask when speaking, coughing or sneezing, never touching the inner side of your face mask, ensuring that your face mask entirely covers your nose and mouth as well as following the cleaning methods described above.
