Here at Superbalist.com we strive to provide our community + customers with value during the times of COVID-19/corona virus. We have implemented strict hygiene and safety measures to help prohibit the spread and infection, while providing a safe online shopping experience. We execute contactless delivery, practise social distancing during deliveries and collections/returns and no longer require you to sign for orders or returns/exchanges. Shopping online in South Africa is safe, convenient, easy and alleviates the need to enter public spaces.

As part of playing our role as an online fashion provider, we now manufacture and sell fabric face masks. Wearing a fabric face mask aids in prohibiting the community spread and infection of the corona virus when in public spaces. The mask has become a strict requirement for all South Africans to wear in public as instructed by Health Minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize, and the South African government. We do not provide respirator masks, n95 masks or surgical masks, simply reusable fabric masks that are only for non-medical use.

The face mask price on Superbalist.com is affordable as it ranges from R99 to R180 for a minimum of two masks. Keep an eye on our daily offers, by subscribing to our mailing list, to see if you can find face masks at a discounted price. Our offering of face masks are available in multi-packs that range from a minimum of two masks per pack to more. The masks for sale are available from a local South African brand, Sealand, and our very own fashion label, Superbalist. All our fabric face masks are comfortable, breathable and can be worn for extended periods of time. The construction and materials vary from accordion style pleats, in B-Grade coated cotton and light poly twill, to three-layer polypropylene fabric with a two-pleat design. All materials and designs ensure a comfortable wear as well as the protection from and prevention of the spread of respiratory droplets. Some of the face masks we offer are not returnable.

The face masks are created in a range of bright and muted colours such as red, blue and black masks as well as fun floral, striped and motif prints. The masks are constructed with various drawstring and elastic-band fastening systems. We offer packs of masks that have neutral and monochromatic colours as well as bolder options with a spectrum of colours and bold designs. No matter your style, we have the face mask to boldly accessorise an outfit or discretely blend in with a neutral colour palette. Acquiring a few masks in neutral and bold colours and designs will have you ready for every type of outfit, any day of the week. Be sure to get face masks for the entire family as our adjustable sizes and designs accommodate for men, women + kids.

The fabric face masks we offer for sale are suitable for your run to the supermarket, day at the office, miscellaneous admin trips and periods of exercise in public spaces. Our face masks are not suitable for medical use. We recommend keeping a face mask in your car at all times or ensuring that you have a face covering at your disposal.

An important part of using face masks effectively is cleaning your masks thoroughly and frequently. Care for your new fabric face masks through hand washing or machine washing them at a high temperature of 50°C. Follow this process by ironing your masks, at 140°C, or lightly steaming them. Be sure to give them a wash after every use to decontaminate the masks and make them safe to use again. We recommend that each individual have a minimum of two face masks to ensure that one is available while the other is being cleaned.

Other guidelines to using face masks efficiently include not touching your face mask when wearing your mask, not lowering your face mask when speaking, coughing or sneezing, never touching the inner side of your face mask, ensuring that your face mask entirely covers your nose and mouth as well as following the cleaning methods described above.

Stay home and shop Superbalist fashion + lifestyle to stay safe and keep those around you, in South African, safe as well.
