While the urge to hide in muted tones is quite strong during the colder months, we come bearing good news. These three prints are an easy way to add some character to your winter looks, as well as utilising your summer wardrobe throughout the year.

Feeling Floral

Who said florals were only for spring? Now’s a great time to utilise your summer dresses and layer them to take you into the new season. A polo neck under your dress adds a new dimension to your outfit, so be sure to stock up on long sleeve tees along the way. We recommend finishing off the whole look with a pair of chunky sneakers. However, if you’re not too big on floral prints, try your hand at the ornate Persian print that’s been making a major comeback. A simple paisley blouse is an easy way to integrate that print into your wardrobe.

Stay In Check

A print that’s as old as it is classic, you can never go wrong with checks. This time around, explore different textures and lengths in checkered coats or try the print in a new item of clothing altogether. A pair of check pants would make your outfit look effortlessly sleek, or better yet, experiment with clashing prints and try it with an animal printed bodysuit or paisley blouse.

Animal Instincts

While animal prints shone brightly in the summer sun, they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. As a print that’s stood the test of time, it’s never too late to take a walk on the wild side. With sleek bodycon dresses perfect for layering under a teddy jacket or a longer textured coat, round off your look by experimenting with a pair of Western-inspired boots.
