As a mother and the founder/CEO of a successful business analytics and organisational effectiveness firm Amanda Dambuza knows only too well how time-consuming the running of a business and a household can be. The key? Your life changes when you start appreciating your worth and therefore the value of your time. I do not waste a single moment of my time doing things that do not enable my vision. Be clear about the vision for your life. With or without a vision board, just have a clear idea of what your life should feel like, and make sure that everything you do is about enabling that dream. Do not to be too rigid in your journey, be flexible and change direction if required. Take detours if necessary but never lose sight of the vision. Stay focused and be persistent. Do what it takes to reach them without ever compromising your values.

What a year of turmoil and rapid change! A year that, however, also offered a great opportunity to pause and press the reset button. We were impacted for sure, but I never took anything from my staff. I kept motivating the team to remember that we have jobs to save so we cannot afford lapses in concentration. I also ensured that they had everything they needed to work from home.

All my banking needs are taken care of digitally, and it is amazing to see how even this channel is evolving to offer more than just traditional banking. They are fast becoming lifestyle platforms and that speaks to me in every way. I love the convenience of banking anytime and anywhere without any restrictions.
