BLACK FRIDAY | SUMMER CLUB: TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Black Friday Summer Club forms part of Superbalist’s Black Friday 2026 campaign of Fashion United SA (Pty) Ltd t/a Superbalist.com (“Superbalist”), which is offered on the Superbalist website at superbalist.com and the Superbalist mobile app (together, the “Platforms”).

The campaign runs from 08:00 SAST on 20 October 2026 until 23:59 SAST on 22 November 2026 (the “Promotional Period”), with Rewards determined by Qualifying Orders and participation.

Participation in the Summer Club constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions (the “Terms & Conditions”). By participating, you also agree to be bound by the general Superbalist Terms and Conditions (the “General Terms”), which are incorporated herein by reference and can be viewed at superbalist.com/terms_and_conditions.

1. Campaign Mechanics
   1. The Summer Club rewards Superbalist customers who are Participants (as defined in clause 3.1) with the exclusive benefits shown below (each a “Reward”), based on their qualifying spend during the Promotional Period. Participants who place a Qualifying Order (as defined in clause 1.2) will unlock one of three spending tiers, being Bronze, Silver and Gold (each a “Tier”), subject to clause 1.4. The minimum value of a Qualifying Order for each Tier, in South African rand (“R”), is shown below (its “Threshold”):

1. Qualification:
   1. Qualification is based on a single order placed and paid in full during the Promotional Period with a value of at least the relevant tier Threshold, calculated on the amount actually paid after any discount, voucher or credit applied to the order, including VAT and excluding delivery charges ("Qualifying Order").
   2. An order that is cancelled, refunded or returned is dealt with in clause 3.4. All rewards are non-transferable and linked to the qualifying Superbalist account.
2. Multiple Qualifying Purchases:
   1. A customer's final tier status will be determined by their single highest value Qualifying Order placed during the Promotional Period. If a customer makes multiple purchases that qualify for different tiers, the rewards associated with the highest tier achieved will supersede any rewards from a lower tier. Rewards are not cumulative across multiple transactions. Orders cannot be combined, aggregated or split to reach a higher tier.
   2. For example, if a customer places one order of R1,500 (qualifying for Bronze) and a separate order of R3,000 (qualifying for Gold), their final status will be determined by the highest single Qualifying Order. They will therefore achieve Gold tier status and be eligible for the rewards associated with that single, highest tier only.
3. Mandatory Opt-In for Rewards:
   1. Rewards (including the early boost links and the Festive Voucher) are delivered by email. To receive any Reward, a participant must have a valid email address on their Superbalist account and must have opted in to receive marketing communications from Superbalist by email by 23:59 SAST on 22 November 2026. Opting in is voluntary, but If you are not opted in by that time you will not receive the Rewards, but you may opt out again at any time after that without affecting Rewards already issued.
   2. It is the participant's sole responsibility to ensure their communication settings are correct prior to this date. You can manage your settings in your Superbalist account under account info and notification settings.
4. Festive Voucher Terms (Gold Tier)
   1. R200 Festive Voucher is exclusively for Gold Tier qualifiers.
   2. The Festive Voucher will be issued by email to the email address linked to the qualifying account, as a unique single use discount code, on or before 30 November 2026.
   3. The voucher is valid for use on a single transaction on products featured in the Superbalist Festive Season gift guide (“Gift Guide Products”) from 1 December 2026 until 23:59 SAST on 20 December 2026.
   4. A minimum spend of R1,500 on Gift Guide Products including VAT and excluding delivery charges is required for the voucher to apply.
   5. The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or voucher (including Black Friday deal pricing on the same item) and is not redeemable for cash.
   6. A limit of 1 (one) R200 Festive Voucher shall be issued per individual Participant for the duration of the Promotional Period, irrespective of the number of Gold Tier Qualifying Orders made by that Participant.
5. Discounts and Promotions
   1. Discounts apply to selected items only and may auto-apply at checkout; no code is required.
   2. Offer validity and duration vary per deal and will be communicated on Superbalist platforms. Black Friday Deals run across the Friday Teasers (6, 13 and 20 November 2026), Black Friday Showdown (24 to 26 November 2026), Black Friday (27 November 2026), Black Friday weekend (28 and 29 November 2026) and Cyber Monday (30 November 2026). Deal dates and times may change; any change will be communicated on Superbalist platforms before the relevant deal starts.
   3. Only one promotion or voucher may be used per transaction.
   4. All offers are subject to stock availability and while stocks last. Early access and the VIP Collection do not guarantee that any particular item will be available.
   5. For free delivery or collection, a minimum spend of R750 calculated on the amount payable for the items in the order, including VAT applies.
   6. Returns and exchanges are subject to Superbalist's standard returns policy.
6. Eligibility, Exclusions and Verification
   1. The promotion is open to natural persons who are residents of South Africa, aged 18 years or older, and who hold a valid Superbalist account ("Participants").
   2. This promotion is not open to directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of Superbalist, or any of its suppliers, partners, or affiliates, nor to their immediate family members (spouse, life partner, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses or life partners).
   3. An order counts toward tier qualification only if it is placed and paid in full by 23:59 SAST on 22 November 2026.
   4. Cancelled, refunded, or returned items will not count toward the qualifying spend Threshold. If a return or refund causes the original qualifying order's value to drop below the tier Threshold, Superbalist reserves the right to deem the customer ineligible for the associated rewards. Returns or refunds of goods that are defective, unsafe or not as described, or made in the exercise of a right under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) in respect of such goods, will not be counted against the Participant under this clause. If a Festive Voucher has already been issued but not redeemed, Superbalist reserves the right to cancel it and will notify the Participant by email. Returns or refunds made after 30 November 2026 will not affect a Reward already issued or redeemed, unless clause 4.3 applies.
   5. Superbalist reserves the right to verify all purchases and eligibility before granting rewards.
7. General
   1. Rewards:

All offers, rewards, and benefits are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be combined with any other promotion, voucher, or discount unless explicitly stated otherwise by Superbalist.

1. Right to Amend/Cancel:

Superbalist reserves the right to amend, extend, suspend, withdraw, or cancel the promotion, any of its tiers, and/or these Terms & Conditions, in whole or in part, at any time if reasonably necessary (including because of fraud or abuse, a legal or regulatory requirement, a system failure or other circumstances beyond Superbalist’s reasonable control), by notice on Superbalist’s website or app. No amendment or cancellation will affect a Reward that a Participant has already qualified for.

1. Disqualification:

Superbalist reserves the right to disqualify any Participant and/or revoke any rewards if it reasonably suspects a breach of these Terms & Conditions, or any misuse, tampering, fraudulent activity (including, but not limited to, related to returns or cancellations), or other conduct deemed to be improper.

1. Liability:

To the extent permitted by law, Superbalist will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the campaign, or from delays or third-party service issues (including payment or delivery delays), unless caused by Superbalist’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Participation in this campaign is voluntary. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any right you have under the CPA or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

1. Final Decisions:

The decisions of Superbalist in all matters related to this promotion are final and binding, (made reasonably and in good faith), without limiting your rights under clause 4.8.

1. Data Protection & Communication:

Superbalist is the responsible party and will process Participants’ personal information (including contact details, order and spend information and communication preferences) to administer the campaign, determine tiers, issue Rewards and prevent fraud, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and its Privacy Policy. Participants may ask Superbalist to confirm, correct or delete their personal information, or object to its processing, at legal@superbalist.com, and may complain to the Information Regulator (complaints.IR@inforegulator.org.za). To qualify for and receive any rewards, Participants must be opted-in to receive marketing communications from Superbalist as specified in Clause 1.4.

1. Your rights:

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to unlawfully restrict or avoid any right or obligation under the CPA. Important notice: your attention is drawn to the clauses that limit Superbalist’s liability, allow Superbalist to amend or cancel the promotion, make the rewards conditional (including clauses 1.4, 3.4, 4.2, 4.4 and 4.5) or create risk or liability for you. Please read them carefully, and ask Superbalist to explain anything you do not understand before you participate.

1. Complaints and governing law:

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Please raise any complaint or dispute with Superbalist first, at [customer care contact 087 362 7300], so that it can be resolved in good faith. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your right to approach the National Consumer Commission, the National Consumer Tribunal, an ombud or any court or tribunal with jurisdiction, or to complain to the Information Regulator.

Live Free | Live Superb

Terms and Conditions - October 2026 competitions:

1. By submitting an entry for the Competition, the participant understands and accepts the rules of the Competition as set out below in these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).

Competition and prize:

1. Fashion United SA (Pty) Ltd t/a Superbalist (“Superbalist”), as promoter, is running the Live Free. Live Superb 2026 promotional competition (“Competition”) on Instagram.
2. The Competition starts at 11:00 (SAST) on 9 October 2026 and entries close at 23:59 (SAST) on 5 November 2026 (the “Competition Period”).
3. One winner will receive a cash prize of R100,000 (one hundred thousand rand) (“Prize”).The Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for another prize.

Who can enter:

1. The Competition is exclusive to South African citizens and permanent residents with a valid South African ID or passport and a South African bank account in their own name.
2. Participants must be 18 years and over at the time of entering the Competition to be eligible.
3. Directors, members, partners, employees, ex-employees, agents and consultants of Superbalist, its associated companies, agencies, partner brands and other suppliers to the Competition, as well as their spouses, life partners, business partners and immediate family members, are prohibited from participating.
4. Participants’ Instagram accounts must be public, and must remain public until the winner has been verified, for their entries to be valid.

How to enter:

1. To enter the Competition, participants must:
2. follow Superbalist (@superbalist) on Instagram;
3. repost the Live Superb competition video (the “Competition Post”) and keep the repost visible until the winner has been announced; and
4. answer the question “What would your dream summer look like if you had R100K to Live Superb?” in the comments of the Competition Post, using #LiveSuperb.
5. Entry is free. No purchase or payment is required to enter or to win.
6. Multiple entries are permitted; however, each comment must be a unique answer. Copied entries, entries from fake, duplicate or automated accounts, and unlawful, defamatory or offensive entries are invalid.
7. Entries received after the Competition Period will not be eligible.
8. By participating in this Competition, you agree to all these Terms and Conditions, the Superbalist Privacy Policy and Instagram’s Terms of Use.

Winner determination and announcement:

1. 1 (One) winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Competition Period, on 10 November 2026, by way of a random draw conducted under the oversight and certification of an independent attorney, advocate, accountant or registered auditor. 2 (two) backup winners will be drawn at the same time, in sequence.
2. The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message from the official Superbalist account (@superbalist). Superbalist will never ask the winner to pay anything to claim the Prize.
3. The winner must respond within 48 (forty eight) hours of being contacted and must submit the verification documents Superbalist asks for within 24 (twenty four) hours of responding. If, after reasonable efforts to contact the winner, Superbalist receives no response or the documents within these periods, or if the winner is found not to be eligible, the winner will forfeit the Prize and the first backup winner will be contacted on the same terms, followed if necessary by the second.
4. A participant is not a winner of any Prize, even if Superbalist publishes or contacts a winner, unless the participant’s eligibility has been verified by Superbalist, acting reasonably and in good faith. To be verified, the winner must provide proof of identity, age, citizenship or permanent residence, and a South African bank account in the winner’s name and, if asked, written confirmation that the winner is not excluded.
5. The winner will be announced on the official Superbalist Instagram account (@superbalist) by 13 November 2026 or, if the winner’s verification has not been completed by then, as soon as reasonably possible after the winner has been verified. Any backup winner will be announced in the same way. Only the winner’s Instagram handle will be announced, unless the winner agrees to further disclosure: the winner will be asked whether Superbalist may publish the winner’s name and image in its marketing material, and may decline without affecting the Prize. Participants’ handles, reposts and comments are public on Instagram.

Claiming the Prize:

1. The winner claims the Prize by responding to Superbalist’s direct message and submitting the verification documents. Superbalist will pay the Prize by EFT into a South African bank account in the winner’s name within thirty (30) days after the winner has been verified.

Unforeseen events:

1. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond Superbalist’s reasonable control (including fraud or abuse, or a failure of Instagram), Superbalist may amend these Terms and Conditions or suspend or cancel the Competition, on notice on @superbalist. Unless those circumstances require it, Superbalist will not change the conditions for participation or for being awarded the Prize, and no change will affect rights already vested under section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).

Personal information:

1. Superbalist is the responsible party. It collects participants’ Instagram handles, reposts and comments and, from the winner only, name, ID or permit details, contact and bank details and (if the winner agrees) image, to administer the Competition, verify eligibility and age, contact, pay and announce the winner, prevent fraud and keep the records the CPA requires. Providing it is voluntary but necessary to enter or claim the Prize. It will be processed under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and the Superbalist Privacy Policy.
2. Personal information may be shared only with the service providers running the Competition (such as its agency, the independent adjudicator and its bank), who must keep it secure, and with authorities where the law requires, and may be sent outside South Africa only as POPIA allows. Instagram processes information on Instagram under its own terms, not for Superbalist. Records are kept for at least three (3) years. Personal information will not be used for direct marketing without consent unless POPIA allows.
3. Participants may ask Superbalist to confirm, correct or delete their personal information (subject to legal record-keeping) or object to its processing as set out in the Superbalist Privacy Policy.

General conditions:

1. Participants must comply with all these Terms and Conditions and with Instagram’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
2. A participant may not win the Prize if it is unlawful for Superbalist to supply it to them, and will forfeit it if they do.
3. Superbalist may disqualify any participant, and withdraw any entry, that it reasonably believes breaks these Terms and Conditions or Instagram’s rules or uses fake accounts, bots or other unfair means. A disqualified winner forfeits the Prize.
4. This Competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Each participant completely releases Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. and their affiliates from any liability arising from the Competition, and acknowledges that any information provided is given to Superbalist and not to Instagram.
5. Superbalist is not responsible for entries that are not received, or are late, lost or invalid, because of a failure of Instagram, the internet or any network or any other cause beyond its reasonable control, or for any tax payable by the winner. This does not limit Superbalist’s liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any right you have under the CPA.
6. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute must first be raised with Superbalist in writing and negotiated; failing resolution, the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of the Republic of South Africa (Western Cape Division, Cape Town) applies. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits your right under the CPA to approach the National Consumer Commission, the National Consumer Tribunal, an ombud or any court or tribunal, or to complain to the Information Regulator.
