The website allows a person (“user”) to place electronic orders ("order") for one or more products on offer as long as such products are available and not sold out.
A purchasing contract ("sale") between the user and Superbalist shall be complete only once a user has placed an order and the payment has been processed fully, meaning Superbalist has received and accepted the payment.
If payment fails due to the account not existing, insufficient funds, the credit card number or other information being incorrect etc. the purchase will not be successful. The above is dependent on the product being available.

Products cannot be reserved by a user to be bought at a later time. Placing an item in your cart without processing the payment for the order will not lead to a successful order being placed nor the reservation of (an) item(s).
If an item is listed as “on hold”, this means that a user currently has the last of these items in their Superbalist shopping cart. If their cart expires without payment being made, this item will be released back onto the website for sale.
Please note that the stock of all items on offer is limited. Superbalist will make all reasonable attempts to ensure that product sales are brought to an end when stock runs out.
If it happens that Superbalist is unable to fulfil any order at the advertised price because stock is sold out or unavailable, Superbalist will let you know and you'll be entitled to a reimbursement for the rand value you have paid for such product.
Termination of Suspected Fraudulent Orders
Superbalist reserves the right to cancel or refuse to fulfil any order that it suspects of being fraudulent. This includes but is not limited to instances of suspected stolen credit cards and abuse of referral programme incentives.
On occasion, a Client Concierge may request a copy of your official identification document or the front of your credit card to verify the transaction with the relevant bank. Superbalist may cancel any order where the necessary documentation is not provided in a timely manner (usually within 24 hours).
In the event of a fraudulent purchase being placed on Superbalist, cardholders will be advised to initiate a chargeback via their bank in order to be refunded. Superbalist does not process refunds for orders suspected of fraud.
Products and Shipping
Products will be shipped as per the stated shipping times of the particular product ordered (see the “Shipping & Returns” tab on each product page). In this case that items in your cart were purchased from different events and different suppliers, shipping times will be as per the item in your cart with the longest estimated delivery time.

Splitting an Order
Customer may request to split their order into smaller shipments at a fee of R49 per split.
The R49 split shipping fee must be sent via EFT to Superbalist's bank account. Proof of payment must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org using the order number as a reference, before a shipment split can be approved.
Returns and Refunds
Defective items, returns and reimbursement
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase due to a defect, incorrect product received or other reason, you may return it to Superbalist within 10 days of delivery.
You will either receive a refund or Superbalist wallet credit, or have the product repaired or replaced, depending on the situation.
Cooling off (Cancellation Policy)
Before, an order is dispatched, customers are eligible to cancel their order at no charge to them, provided the items they are cancelling are not made to order or art on demand items. These item items may incur a cancellation charge.
A 5 working day cooling off period applies to all purchases, prior to the order being dispatched.
Once an order has been dispatched, the shipping and handling fee will not be refunded. You may cancel your purchase by contacting email@example.com or calling 08600 22 146.
Cancellations requested after items have been dispatched and have been delivered, will be treated as returns and the 5 working day cooling off policy may be refused, alternatively 10% of the product total or a R50 warehousing fee may be deducted (whichever the greater fee is) will be deducted from the refund amount if items are unwanted.
Refunds are offered in the original method of payment or into your Superbalist wallet. Refunds take 1- 5 working days to process. EFT and credit card refunds will take 2-3 working days to reflect in your account due to the reflection delay between banks. As per the eBucks Terms and Conditions, eBucks payments may never be refunded for cash. If you wish to query whether your eBucks refund has been processed please call their contact centre for more information on 0861233000.

Please note that shipping fees are not refundable and there is a R50 re-stocking fee that is deducted from the refund, unless the refund is processed to your Superbalist wallet.
Gift Cards, Referral System and Promotions
Gift cards can only be used to make purchases on the Superbalist.com website. These can be redeemed at this link: http://superbalist.com/users/my_account/wallet
To take part in Superbalist’s referral program, you must be a valid Superbalist account holder. You may then refer your friends to also sign up and if you abide by all the rules, you may receive a referral bonus in the form of Superbalist wallet credit.
A successful referral is defined as any user who clicks on your unique referral link and chooses to sign up themselves and become a member of Superbalist. Referral links are sent via Facebook and/or Twitter and/or Email and generated by the referral tool available on www.superbalist.com.

Superbalist reserves the right to change the rules around the invite a friend scheme, or the value of the referrer reward, without prior notice.
Access constraints as well as the value of rewards (paid in the form of Superbalist credit), can be changed at any time, without notice, at the full discretion of Superbalist. We reserve the right to cancel/revoke any referral bonuses at any time.
Promotional Voucher Codes
From time to time users will receive promotions in the form of unique codes that can be used at checkout to unlock certain discounts.
Promotional vouchers are issued at the discretion of Superbalist. Users do not have the right to promotional vouchers and cannot earn them. Promotional vouchers are issued with specific terms and conditions that regulate their use.
A voucher can only be used once and only one voucher can be used per checkout. Enter the voucher code on checkout and the value of the voucher will be deducted from the total amount in your shopping cart. The remaining balance, if any, must be paid by you.
Please note that no promotions will apply to the KitchenAid and Apple brand items sold on our website.
From time to time, Superbalist may run competitions through its website and other channels. The prizes offered as well as the competition requirements (for winning) may also change from time to time, and will be disclosed during the running of the competition.
Superbalist cannot guarantee the quality or the fulfilment of the prizes by third parties. The winner of competitions will be decided by Superbalist at its full discretion. Superbalist staff and their family members are not allowed to participate will not be considered for competition winners.in these competitions and will not be eligible to win.
Superbalist reserves the right to limit or discontinue the functionality of the site. While we strive to be online continuously, we cannot exclude cases in which the webpage may be unavailable. In rare cases this may cause data loss.
Superbalist cannot be held liable for cross-browser incompatibilities that cause checkout or payment failures. We recommend that you browse with Google Chrome, Safari or Firefox.
Superbalist and participating vendors retain all copyright and other rights to services, as well as listings, information, images, videos, and databases (the "Property Protection"). A modification, reproduction, publication, disclosure to third parties and / or exploitation of the protected property without the prior written consent is expressly prohibited by Superbalist.

Superbalist reserves the right to revise these terms from time to time. If you disagree with the general terms we do not recommend use of our service. You will be required to accept the T's & C's every time you transact on our website.
We reserve the right to ban any individual uploader or website domain from using our services for any reason.
