The good times keep coming with the latest designer collaboration from H&M. This time, it's legendary luxury fashion house Rabanne taking centre stage following the likes of Balmain, Kenzo, Erdem and most recently, Mugler.
Rabanne X H&M takes the carefree exuberance of the 1970s, fusing the retro-futurism of Rabanne, formerly Paco Rabanne, for a collection that flirts with fantasy and dreams about the future.

Dropping in South Africa on 9 November online exclusively on Superbalist.com at 8am, the hotly anticipated collaboration announced earlier this year during Paris Fashion Week had a star-studded party with a performance from pop icon Robyn at Club Silencio.
Other A-Listers in attendance included Irina Shayk, Jared Leto, Damson Idris, Ashley Graham, longtime Rabanne supporter Cher and many others.

The fashion house’s creative director Julien Dossena, since 2014, has kept the Rabbane spirit of pushing provocative boundaries and reimagining the brand for a new generation.
The collection opens up the Rabanne vibe to a wider audience, with the house signature of metallic opulence in dresses and separates decked out in paillette sequins, crystals, broderie anglaise detailing, oversized sleeves and lots of leopard print.

Speaking to HypeBeast regarding the collection, Julien said: “I knew from the start that I wanted to propose Rabanne’s House icons because the collaborations I looked at in the past that I felt were most successful were the ones that offered the most recognisable pieces.”

Along with the party-inspired collection, H&M Home is jumping in on the collaboration fun with sleek yet playful pieces that feature the laid-back luxury flair of Rabanne and their signature style.
