Been keeping an eager eye on international runways for new makeup inspiration and building Pinterest boards filled with all the beauty looks you’re soon to try? Us too. Happily helping us right along is M.A.C’s line of Love Me lipsticks that have just launched on our site. How’s that for timing? The range consists of 24 pigmented shades infused with argan oil for a super-luxurious, satin-soft and moisturising finish. True to M.A.C’s commitment to meaningful social engagement, the Love Me range promotes self-love and self-appreciation and stars the likes of Halima Aden, Amber Wagner, Rina Sawayama and Frances O’Sullivan in the campaign. Using M.A.C Love Me lipsticks, we decided to give a few of the strongest beauty looks a try, drawing inspiration from our pinned runway inspiration.

For this whimsical look inspired by Euphoria (the show, that is), warm up a fuschia lipstick, like M.A.C’s My Little Secret on the back of your hand with a few swipes. Then, using a fluffy eyeshadow brush, apply a small amount of colour across your eyelids and under your lower lash line. Continue blending until the colour is evenly blurred out. If you’re feeling fancy, add white liquid-liner graphics. It’s grown-up fun co-signed by us.

Power to the pink. Candyfloss hues are making a return on bare faces finished off with slicked-back hair. Try this with the cool-toned Pure Nonchalance. Neatly cover lips with two coats for highly pigmented lips and use a lip brush for the ultimate accuracy.

Ombre, the easy way, with only one lip product. Apply M.A.C’s La Femme to the edge of the lips and then push your lips together to smudge the colour inwards. Finish off by tapping your lips with your finger to blend, although this look needn’t be too neat.

For those who love a multifunctional product (or if you’re just running late), this next trick is just for you. Use the coral-tinted Tres Blasé on both lips and cheeks. After slicking your lips, add some lipstick to your fingertips and tap your fingers together to warm up the product. Lightly dab onto the apples of your cheek and blend up towards your temples.

Much like its namesake E for Effortless, this look is as easy as they come. No lip liner or precision required while applying. Loosely smudge the smallest amount of colour onto your index finger and dab onto your lips. Mid-dinner touchup, sorted.
