What’s more of an evergreen essential than denim? We’ll wait. In the meantime, consider all of your most-prized denim pieces that you wear religiously, because they work every single time, no matter the decade or mood. And that’s allowed. But sometimes we need a gentle reminder of all the other styles that we could be exploring. As the weather starts to turn, how about easing into a new season with five different styles from Cotton On?

The midi skirt has reigned supreme for quite some time, but now that the sun is out, our knees are more than ready to come out to play. Harking back to the Swinging Sixties and peak early-90s fashion, the denim mini skirt is a regular favourite for its youthful spirit. You don’t have to be under the age of 25 to wear one, either. Style it with an oversized shirt and a pair of espadrilles to give the denim mini skirt that easy air.

Speaking of knees, we’re also really appreciating the return of Bermuda shorts for women especially, since they never really fell off the fashion radar for men. Wear yours with some sneakers, a round neck T-shirt and your favourite accessories and you’ll be good to go.

What’s not to love about a casual pair of culottes for the seasons to come? They allow ease of movement, they’re simple to style and they’re long enough to keep you covered, but short enough to keep you cool. A denim version, you say? Yes, please.
