Steve Madden launches spring with The Music Edit
Steve Madden, the New York shoe brand, has long been famed for its trend hitting footwear and shameless edge. In a recent interview with Billboard, Steve Madden noted:
In 2016 Steve Madden South Africa introduced its Music Program to support and celebrate the local music culture. This season, Steve Madden launches its spring collection with the Music Edit – a collaboration with four local artists as they select their top Steve Madden styles for the season, each supported by a comedic video clip spin.
Introducing Moozlie, Ms Cosmo, Kyle Deutsch and Gemini Major as this season's Music Edit headliners. Each have their own street and stage style that's as visible in their edit of both the women's and men's spring collection.
In selecting the artists, the brand collaborates with Steve Madden takes on a rigorous approach in analysing the alignment, journey and reputation of each musician.

Our aim is to ensure we work with musicians who not only inspire our customers but are unapologetic in both their music journey and style. It took about a month to select the four musicians for the Music Edit and we are thrilled with the outcome. We believe each musician is a pillar in their respective genre yet still have massive potential."
