Four festival types and the four looks to match
Festival style has always been a tricky terrain to navigate. Although you want to look good (who doesn’t?) you also have to be super practical about your fashion choices. Now before you end up getting too overzealous in your quest to nailing the perfect “festival aesthetic” keep in mind that you do not (I repeat, do not!) want to end up looking like a walking cliché. So, where’s the middle ground? Here are four outfits ideas we’ve put together to hopefully get your creative juices flowing.
Outdoor Festival
Nothing says carefree festival style like an easy slip dress and boots. As for length, we say midi – but you could definitely say mini. The feminine silhouette mixed with the toughness of the boots makes for a fashion match made in heaven. As for boots, stick to ankle or combat variations.
Block Party
The comeback of wide-leg trousers was engineered to satisfy the sartorial dreams of us all. The key to hacking this look, however, is balancing proportions: loose fit pants should ideally be balanced out with a tighter-fitting upper half.
Music Festival
Not only are denim shorts easy to pack but can easily be dressed up when teamed with lace-up flatforms. Accessorize with a cute cross-body bag to complete the look.
Art Festival
Sheer anything is super on-trend. So, for an effortless look throw a sheer top or dress over a cute bralette or a white tank. Add some edge to the look by contrasting with a pair of relaxed fit jeans and sneakers.
