Born Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott, the Brooklyn rapper is inspired by Nas, Tupac, Jigga and Biggie, and it’s not just the sound of these 90s MCs he’s channeling – he’s embracing the same streetwear and select sportswear pieces that they rocked back in the day. A deft hand at mixing old with the new, Joey Badass is able to create unique looks that can best be described as, to use the man’s vernacular, SWANK.
