Since their formation, Diamond Thug has continually evolved, always striving to create a unique sound that stays true to their perspective. Their music glides through dream-pop, skittish, off-kilter electronica and psychedelic-rock, creating cosmic-influenced ethereal soundscapes, which swirl below Chantel’s haunting, yet beautiful melodies. The pursuit of an authentic & honest sound has earned the band various honours in international competitions such as Culture Collide’s pick to perform at SXSW

Lucy Kruger is a musician and songwriter who, since the release of her debut album in 2013, has toured extensively both locally and internationally, collaborating with a number of artists on various projects. She is one half of dream-noise duo, Medicine Boy, while her solo project focuses on the bare bones of the songs and draws on her folk roots. Her performance is honest and intimate, revealing a child-like curiosity towards the darker elements of sound and subject matter. The sound drifts between the bareness of the acoustic guitar and the darker, psychedelic approach of the band.

K-$ is a DJ and internet sensation hailing from Cape Town's Southern Suburbs. Coming up under a father who was also a DJ, this selector has a deep love for timeless classics and is naturally drawn to the rhythms emerging from RnB, funk, disco and soul's golden years. The soundtrack of yesteryear's playboys, mac daddies and supaluvas has influenced not just his sound, but persona and aesthetic too. Raw talent and a well-trained ear inform a style that seamlessly blends this heritage with more contemporary favourites, a phenomenon he says comes down to the fact that the music he grew up on laid a strong foundation, upon which the present-day sound is built. This is evident in each of his sets across the city at well-established clubs, events, festivals like Cape Town Electronic Music Festival (CTEMF) and MUSE All Weekend Music Festival. One of the youngest members of the LIT squad, he's are an old soul trapped in a young body. Expect nothing but quality hits for true music lovers.
