Kay Morgan, aka DJ Doowap, is a 25-year old half-British half-Swati electronic live mix DJ and certified sound engineer based in Johannesburg. Fusing a variety of genres and then adding a bass twist to it, there are elements of Trap, Hip Hop and Drum&Bass and if you like the sound of that then be sure to tune into the Hot99 Dubstep chart, a show that DJ Doowap hosts every Wednesday 9am-10am on Gauteng’s leading youth station 99.2 YFM. Otherwise DJ Doowap is known for her colourful hairstyles and 90’s inspired outfits, and you can catch her at electronic festivals, bass parties, Braamfontein, Newtown, Maboneng and other venues that think outside of the box.
