Arturo Vega’s eternal graphic for enigmatic New York punk band The Ramones is one of rock ‘n’ roll’s all-time famous logos and, aside from their stellar legacy, it’s plain to see why from an aesthetic point of view. Despite having been appropriated into popular culture years ago by a storm of pseudo-vintage cringe-pieces from large generic retailers, Only & Sons appear to have adopted a fan’s perspective, breathing authenticity into the design by ditching the made-to-look-retro vibe and returning the original logo to a plain tee of high-quality material.
