1950’s Sportswear Tee – Ochre

In the 1950s t-shirts were longer than in the preceeding decades and the construction, if any, became more robust: a slim-fitting t-shirt with a single left chest pocket. This is similar to the one worn by Marlon Brando in The Wild One in 1953, but with a slightly longer body, a shorter capped sleeve and a larger Levi Strauss Sportswear label. The Ochre finish boasts a washed out appeal and slightly pilled surface with a light indigo overdye and is fashioned from 100% cotton.
