The Ares is made with a synthetic ripstop upper, offering support, durability, and breathability. Welded panels at the sides provide additional reinforcement. Comfort is provided by the padded collar and tongue, while a reinforced toe guard ensures protection. The Ares includes a removable molded EVA footbed for underfoot cushioning, and the impact-absorbing CMEVA midsole ensures long-lasting cushioning and comfort. The deep lug outsole is designed for off-road traction but can easily be worn in an urban environment.
