JIA Governor Series – Mandarin Carafe Set

This beautifully shaped glass carafe set has been made with heat resistant double wall glass, designed to keep your beverages at the desired temperature – hot or cold – for a longer period. This carafe may be used for red wines or water. Wines are typically decanted into carafes to allow them to breathe, and so that sediments in the wine will settle at the bottom. If the carafe is used to serve water add freshly picked mint leaves, thinly sliced cucumber and ice blocks for prettiness and flavour.

Fun fact: the original lyrics to the nursery rhyme Jack and Jill included the phrase "to fetch a carafe of water" instead of the more commonly known "to fetch a pail of water”.
