“Lego is a classic toy. The characters are cute, fun, and instantly recognisable, with most people having played with them growing up. I kept all my Lego from when I was kid and, not too long ago, I stumbled across some toy photographers on the internet and was inspired to pull out my old spacemen, and start taking photos. What was just a hobby is now a full blown obsession, and needless to say, my Lego collection has grown as well. I strive to make the little plastic people come alive through the scenes I create in my pictures. It’s a challenge to create a sense of movement with a Lego figure, but that’s what keeps me going – to constantly discover new environments and try different poses or angles to make them come alive.
