Brian Rubenacker discovered his love for illustration and painting over 15 years ago, but it wasn’t until later that he hit on a distinctive style to call his own. In 2000, he painted the first pet portrait of his treasured Boston Terrier, Lacey, as a birthday gift to his wife. This was just the start of his animal endeavours and since then his artworks have been featured at 323 Gallery, Lift, and in his published works Geek Art, Art Trader, and Where’s My Bone. To this day he still holds Lacey and her loving, comical nature as the muse that continues to inspire much of his work.
