Can’t hang it on the wall. It doesn’t stay straight

The wood of the shelf has a nice finish but it’s close to impossible to mount to the wall. The hooks bend easily and break off, the shelf can hold almost no weight (definitely not a plant) and the shelf leans forward once on the wall.
