The XX

The XX propelled themselves into the indie music scene as a fully-fledged unit, not susceptible to outside influence due to the startling confidence of their debut. The XX sounds far from a debut; the depth of the songwriting and the uniqueness of the sound smacks of a band that had been working together for years; and effectively they had been, deciding only to unleash themselves at exactly the right time.
