About the designer: Multiple award-winning designer, David Quan graduated with top honours in Industrial Design and went on to specialise in a diverse range of industries including furniture, toys, sporting goods and high-tech equipment. His career at Umbra is focused on developing plastic technology and sustainability-focused design. Currently, David is Director of Education for the professional organization ACIDO (Association of Chartered Industrial Designers, Ontario).
