Superbalist HQ’s top Elizabeth Arden products
There’s little wonder why Elizabeth Arden is one of the most revered and trusted beauty houses in the world. To date, some of their most iconic miracle workers range from the multifunctional Eight Hour Cream and Prevage anti-ageing line to fragrances such as Red Door and 5th Avenue that have been popular for many decades. Keen to find out which innovative Elizabeth Arden products should be at the top of any serious list of beauty must-haves? We turn to Superbalist HQ to find out who’s loving what and why.
The product: Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum
I love it because: It’s never too early to introduce an anti-aging product into your skincare routine. I love Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Daily Youth Restoring Serum because it leaves my skin feeling smooth, minimises the appearance of fine wrinkles around my eyes and gives my skin an overall healthy glow.
How to use: You can incorporate the serum into your routine all year round, because of its skin repair function and moisturising properties, but it's especially valuable during winter when one's skin tends to take a bit of a beating. Simply twist the capsule twice to open and smooth over a cleansed face and neck.
The product: PREVAGE Anti-aging Daily Serum
I love it because: My mom taught me that prevention is better than cure and I didn’t take her seriously until I thought I saw a wrinkle. Solution? A dual-action serum that works both to protect your skin from environmental damage and correct signs of damage. It’s got one of the most powerful formulations of antioxidants on the market, which means once applied to the skin it releases super-effective doses of protective benefits to the areas of the skin that need it the most. It also protects against pollution and sun damage, tightens your pores and boosts that natural glow.
How to use: In the morning under a hydrating moisturiser and SPF, but after a long day in the sun I like to apply it at night too, under a calming night cream. You may see some results within a week, so the longer you use it, the better.
The product: Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant
I love it because: There is nothing that excites me more than a multifunctional, hardworking beauty product and for me (and many loyal fans), the Eight Hour Cream is just that. I have one in my handbag, at my desk and on my top shelf at all times.
How to use: I’m almost certain I’ve used it on my whole body, as it alleviates my sensitive skin irritations, soothes chapped lips or cuticles, treats grazes and minor burns and tames eyebrows – all while packing a huge moisture boost. Thanks to the glossy texture, it also doubles up as an incredible highlight on cheekbones and when used on top of eyeshadow, it works beautifully to achieve the trendy wet-look lid.
The product: White Tea EDT
I love it because: It’s a gentle reminder of life’s simple pleasures – the quiet joy that comes with smelling damn good. The fragrance adds an air of serenity and warmth, even in the middle of a cold and moody winter day. Wrap yourself in notes that include Italian Mandarin, Japanese White Fern, White Tea Extract and Madras Wood and expect to be comforted by its soft, woody muskiness.
How to use: When you’ve been lounging around in your comfy comfs all day and you’re looking for an easy pick-me-up to lift your spirits. A spritz on each wrist and behind the ears should do the trick very quickly.
Don’t forget to keep an eye out for White Tea Mandarin Blossom, Elizabeth Arden’s newest fragrance. With the introduction of White Tea in 2017, Elizabeth Arden embarked on a journey to capture these simple pleasures in a pure and exquisitely uncomplicated fragrance. White Tea Wild Rose and White Tea Vanilla Orchid expanded the experiential collection in 2019, and today, Elizabeth Arden introduces its latest scent – White Tea Mandarin Blossom. Mandarin Blossom combines citrusy sweet mandarin, delicate white tea and warm luminous musks to create an energetic scent that instantly transports you to a bright meadow.
