This week brings you a mix by The Playlista, a lover of music who finds joy in making intoxicating mixes. Her appreciation for music began when she was a child, growing up around a family of music collectors. Realising that she didn’t have the talent to sing nor the patience to learn an instrument, The Playlista focused on exploring sound through DJing, immersing herself in music spaces and meeting like-minded musicians. She quickly learnt to put together eclectic mixes from a wide variety of genres, with particular interest in neosoul, jazz, 90s R&B and hip-hop.
