A dress a day: Part 1

Start the year off strong with the long maxi (thigh-high slit optional)

We’re all about making fashion fun and what’s more enjoyable than a month-long challenge? Summer’s the perfect time for dresses, and with so many silhouettes, lengths and colours on offer, there’s bound to be one for you — 20 to exact — for every occasion January throws you way. This week’s focus piece is the maxi. Slip into something comfortable and get some inspiration on how to wear it for the next 5 days.

Keep it simple with a dress that works as a cover up over your bikini or something comfortable if you’re not planning on getting any part of your body wet.

Nothing says ‘I’m shopping with my BFFs and we might stop by our favourite restaurant for a few glasses of bubbly’ better than a wrap dress. Complement the sophistication with eye-catching (and most importantly, comfortable) slides.

Dressing up for a work lunch is the perfect chance to go all out. Our recommendation: something with frills and a slit. Finish off the look with a mule to channel quintessential summer style.

Be pretty in pink with a simple A-line dress and heels. Elevate your look with accessories like shoulder-grazing earrings, strappy heels and a clutch. If it’s chilly, wear a biker jacket on your shoulders for some edge.

Embrace the blue theme of the polo event with this emerald blue dress, complete with thigh-high slit. Wear strappy heels, a popping clutch and you’re set to be best-dressed.
