If you edit out all of that death, destruction and pillaging, war is responsible for some solid menswear pieces. The war effort required gear that could survive varied and often harsh terrain, and with soldiers not privy to the sort of online shopping and same-day-delivery that you might benefit from, they needed one outfit that would stand up to the demands of war. The type of boot you decide to shod your feet in is totally up to you and whether that’s a pair of buttery tan Timberlands, canvas Palladiums or a pair of much smarter black leather lace-ups, boots are able to carry you through a number of situations from casual wear to more formal occasions. So it's important to invest in the best.
