The Way of Us invites you to be a part of the global We Are Original community by sharing your original Levi's style and story.
Simply style yourself wearing at least one Levi's item, show this off at our open casting, and you could win a years supply of Levi's if you're the best-styled person on the day.
From 11am to 6pm on Saturday 23 April, Shine Studios in Johannesburg will transform into the We Are Original Studio with photography by I See a Different You and the chance to feature in the We Are Original campaign alongside local influencers that include fashion rebel Maitele Wawe, style bloggers Twiggy Moli and Siya Beyile, and our photographers for the campaign, I See a Different You.
The Fashion Rebels founder is used to expressing himself through style and is also The Social Market in Pretoria, which celebrates art, fashion, music and food. For Maitele, nothing beats a 501's ability to be customised, tailored and worn in myriad ways.
As founder of leading fashion and lifestyle blog Sleepless In Soweto, Twiggy knows a thing or two about style and storytelling. Part of the new generation of South African bloggers, Twiggy's made a career of sharing her story and style. In love with the diversity of denim – as it lets her express whatever style she feels on the day, be it simple, comfortable or a little bit edgy - Twiggy is all about originality.
Born with a love for fashion and style, Siya founded leading men’s fashion blog The Threaded Man for men like him – originals whose style defines them. A longtime fan of Levi’s, Siya’s been wearing the brand for years due his love for self-expression through fashion and how they make him feel confident.
Homegrown storytellers from Soweto, I See A Different You are on a mission to showcase Africa's true beauty and originality. Known for their unique style, Justice Mukheli, Innocent Mukheli and Vuyo Mpantsha are passionate about denim and capturing personalities through their photography.
