Markus Wormstorm's semi-live DJ set titled Chimera Clockwork
Regulars of The Way of Us will be familiar with the sounds of Markus Wormstorm, the award-winning producer we visited at his Honeymoon Studios and the man who scored the sound for our TV ad.
Last week Markus released a new song “To Be an Open String" where the composer notated for open strings, wrote lyrics for Nomapostile Nyiki, and then layered 909 drums over that. You should watch the video to see sometimes-Superbalist collaborator Travys Owens’ interpretation of Markus’ song about the sea.
Today's Monday Mixtape, Chimera Clockwork, is the semi-live DJ set that Markus Wormstorm performed at the launch of the music video for his new song, and is a hybrid of dark, provocative music of different electronic genres that's an absolute delight to start the week with. Enjoy.
