A selector from Soweto shares his sounds in an exclusive half hour mix

Nteboheleng William Madibo from Dobsonville, Soweto, is a music selector who seeks to bring about positivity through the music he shares.

After being introduced to the sounds of Soulection, he started a group called The Wolf Gang Project and soon after started DJing at Kitcheners as Balamoon.

How did you come up with your alias?

Balamoon means young moon. The word Bala is a Sanskrit word that has several meanings, one of the them being 'young'.

Vaal for The Hood Hangout , Manolo Skate Nights at Curiocity Hostels and House On Magazine.

Disco dance from the 80s

With pizza in hand and an open mind.

What's in the mix you made us?

Lost Poets jazz vibes with disco from the dark side of the wax. There's a track from Branko and remix from vhoor is normal does baile but mixed it up which I enjoyed.
