It might be primetime for hoodies and sweatshirts but in the dead of winter, nothing beats classic knitwear. From cable-knits and ugly Christmas-esque sweaters to polo necks and preppy V-neck pullovers, this season’s designs come in an abundance of styles, levels of bulkiness, an array of colours and most importantly, they’re available at every price point. While we still recommend not parting completely from your sweats of choice, you won’t be making a mistake by cosying up in one of these woollen wonders either.

Block your colours

Go back to your days of play dates and afternoon cartoons with a colour blocked sweater. It’s an easy way to brighten up your look — and this winter, you owe it to the world to wear as many colours as stylishly possible. Get the full 90s aesthetic with a striped number in a slightly oversized fit, so buy one (or two if necessary) sizes up. It’ll make layering underneath easier too.

Zip it up (only a quarter of the way)

Ideal for the corporate man who loves his collared shirts and ties, the ¼ zip pullover will add a casual, functional aspect to your work outfit.
